Well, yesterday was a bit of a whirlwind. I woke up once again with a very sore throat and located a doctor in town. After a blood test, the doctor from the Bay Medical Practice, informed me that getting the first available flight home was advisable. It was Glandular Fever and it was time to rest. Next thing I know I am on a flight home to Sydney, and am thrown into bed with some iced water.
However, finding out that you are ill on this type of project actually highlights that working from a specific location, in a way, is irrelevant. Although the crew can’t shoot some stuff with me, I am still able to (in between sleep) to write, post and examine what it actually does means to work away from your team and still be able to to contribute. I am here in Sydney, but my team are still able to ask questions and remain in touch.
So with laptop and i-mates, it’s relevant where you are. So the guys are in Byron
and I am here in bed , but I am still able to deliver to Mitch a profile he needed for the site.
Have fun on your last day guys - and make sure you have a swim for me.
Michelle
PS. I did have to sneak the laptop past the "You’re not working police". Hopefully they’re not reading the blog.

Thanks David.
Sadly the ‘You’re not working police’ DID read the blog - from INDIA no less.
It’s amazing how you can be scolded from such a large distance these days.
