Hello, my name is Michelle and I am a remote workaholic. For many years I’ve been running business from home, holidays and the occasional tropical island.
My passion is around making things work for people, with ease. From working parents, both men and women, to people who just want to get together to have fun, it’s important to be connected. So what do I do? I help people work out what to do with their social network, and how to turn it into social coordination. It’s the next big thing. The tools are within our grasp, now it’s time to show others what’s possible. That’s my dream.
I’m a social networking crazy person and have implemented social networking theory in practical a business sense within my own companies and for others. I’ve just come finished a project that used its own social networking site and Facebook, that launched a 400 people were involved, with the proceeds going to help primary children. I’ve attached a photo from the event, I’m the one in the sunglasses.
With the right tools, anyone can work more efficiently, make bus time work time, and spend more quality time with family and friends. A recent newspaper article (Manly Daily, 5/3/08) stated that untreated depression in the workplace is climbing at an alarming rate. I like people to imagine being able to work from your beach house, your farm, your boat, your anywhere! As I look at my beautiful garden right now, I can’t imagine being depressed about doing the work I love, in the places I love.

Mmmm Pinot - nice choice. Although, more importantly, its so lovely to work remotely (i.e in pajama’s, at home, in front of aforementioned fire….)
